    And, from last night....nice visit to great new local brewery - Canton Brewing; great space and the beers were all solid! Got 2 flights - sampled all 8 beers on draft, and picked up cool "can glass"....the DIPA was great! The bar and brickwork, with wrought iron gate-work, all first rate, and nice barrel room!

    WBAYDN #882 Update
    I have decided to name the goat @LeperJim Billy seemed too cheezy. So I started brainstorming. I like "Plissken", but he doesnt have an eye patch. Thought about "Vito" (Corleone), but he is more of a dog lover. Decided against "Ace". The reason why is none of your damn business, and I'll thank you for staying out of my personal affairs. I leaned really hard towards "Brick Tamland" because of the whole IQ thing, but that made me consider "Rocky" for some reason. Thought "Gandalf" sounded cool, but I have never seen those movies and I like "Magneto" myself. "Callahan", "Riggs", and "McClane" are obviously better last names. Speaking of McClain, "Hans Gruber" was a solid candidate. Given the theme though, I thought I should consider some music ties. "Slash", "Angus", "Zakk", "Dimebag", "Jimmy/Jimi", "Hammett" or "Hetfield". In the end though, I went with "Navin".

    Tiny bottle share with a friend last night; didn't get the chance to post pictures.     Chimay Grande Reserve (Blue), 01/12

    At a hair over three years old, this is perfectly smooth and delicious. Perhaps a touch less sweet, and the same measure nuttier, than when fresh. One of the first bottles I ever put in my cellar.

    Eclipse Four Roses, 2013

    One year seems to be a sweet spot for this brew; this was the best tasting Eclipse I've ever had. The bourbon was very subdued (due to age or the barrel choice, I know not), and there were wonderfully rich chocolate and coffee notes from the malt coming through.

    Good morning BAs! Drove my gimpy wife to get her hair rearranged and now I have a couple of hours before I gotta go to pick her up. Haven't had this since 2011 - liked the old labels better. This is NOT Ten Fidy but it's still pretty darned good.
