After all this Toppling Goliath has really took a hit in how I feel about them. This is a fest you just don't back out of if you want to keep your fans...really uncool considering they were prob top 3 want to try for most going.

All that said, still can't wait and I know the fest will still be amazing!

Oh wow - I guess it's a good thing my friend had me over recently for a TG bottle tasting.

Plenty of other crazy beers I'm looking forward to. Can't wait!

@Jason @Todd I would say that since Toppling Goliath will not be there, bring in some "Goliaths". Set up a spot and man the stand with local BA employees. Use the sign you probably have already but just cross off the word Toppling, but make it obvious. Have BMCs on tap.

Or you could leave the spot open and just have a mailbox where all the attendees can send in complaint letters directly to TG.

@gibgink: We'd rather just move on. Giving it any further thought is a waste of our time.

Totally understand. And for all who are going, have a great time! I for one, would love to attend.

Is there any word yet what NERAX will be offering? Loved that booth last year.

Strange, have they brewed this before? Last year I was trying to brew a Baltic porter with maple syrup and I sent them an email asking If they would consider creating this bc I am clearly not as talented as them.

Not that I know of…and I generally keep close tabs on what they do since I live 10 minutes from them. Perhaps you were inspiration

Indeed you did...glad you'll be up for the fest and will get the chance to try it.

You should follow up with JA by email about this.

Somewhat disappointing that Crooked Stave didn't come back this year to redeem themselves. Hopefully Firestone Walker brings more beer and better servers this year. Those were really the only disappointments last year, which I'll call pretty minor hiccups given the quality available elsewhere. Of course, Toppling Goliath was one of my favorites, so we'll see who else can shine this year.

Agree with FW assessment, was looking forward to parabajava last year which I never saw.

Yeah, I went to their table within the first hour and they only had one beer still pouring.

Ah, yes, I do remember FW not being a great experience last year. Forgot about it since Crooked Stave was such a debacle and basically overshadowed any other problematic booths.

But the cool thing about EBF is that for every 1 or 2 issues, you have 60+ breweries that are all AWESOME. The Against the Grain boys were great last year and it's beyond cool that they are bringing 10 beers this year including Bo & Luke.

For non-New York folks, make sure you hit up Other Half. They are doing amazing things IPA-wise and are bringing their heavy hitters - Green Diamonds and All Green Everything. I'm totally expecting them to blow a lot of people away who aren't familiar with them.
