I didn't see a thread, but this has been all over the place in the burbs this past week. Teresa's Next Door (Wayne), TJ's (Paoli), Pour House (Exton), and the Churchville Inn all have/had it. Anyone else have a chance to try it? Four pints this week thus far... beats driving to VT!
I had it at Teresa's on Tuesday and it was empty at the bar. Give them a call to check and see if it's still on, they did't advertise it on their website. Tonight I had it at TJ's - they will update their site/twitter as soon as it goes off, but I can't imagine it making it through tomorrow night.
great beer that edward is..what are these places charging. Would not pay more than 6$ for a full pint.
Had some at Bru as well as Bainbridge Barrel House. Although still good, it doesn't compare to when I have in Vermont.
myself, brother in law, future brother in law and two sisters sat at bainbridge trying to kill the Edward keg.. i was shocked it was still on at 4:30 on friday and that we sat there... drank a ton... left... came back at 10 pm and it was still on.. also had perennial abraxas going which was a nice in between Edwards beer.. fun times
I don't know about you man, but that keg of Edward at Bainbridge was barely drinkable. Wrong color, thin, a more prominent malt background, no white peach...subpar homebrew at best. SS4 was decent though.
Also on at Fountain Porter. Had six pints last night, if it wasn't a Sunday I would've kept on going.
Ha, that funny. I had one yesterday and Bainbridge around 4, when I ordered a second the bartender mentioned how she was surprised it didn't kick yet. The second pour finally kicked the keg.
