my dad is making a run to Minnesota on business and I would like him to pick up some Surly beers for me (we live in Indiana). What do you recommend he pick up? Thanks!

it depends what you like but a few of my choices would be
    Coffee Bender
    2/6 Abrasive
    Overated IPA

I love to try a little of everything but since it's getting warmer I'm not too into stouts at the moment. Was just looking at their BA page and was thinking Furious, Abrasive, and maybe something else?

Doomtree just came out for the first time in cans. It's a fun sort of cross between Furious and Cynic in my opinion taste wise.

Not Surly but I'd recommend he grab some other MSP goodness...
    Indeed Day Tripper
    Indeed Let it Ride
Town Hall (Grab a growler. I'd recommend Masala Mama)

If you like DIPAs I'd go with Abrasive and Summit Hop Silo

What kind of packaging do these come in? I'm guessing 4pk? Any specific stores to get singles? He's in the St. Paul area

All Surly beers (minus special releases) are packaged in 4pk 16oz cans. Summit Hop Silo is 4pk 16oz cans too. Indeed and Bent Paddle are both 6pk 12oz cans.

All of the Surly beers mentioned are great choices.

But don't make a stop in MN without getting some Let it Ride IPA from Indeed, yeah not Surly but imo it's the best IPA in MN.

    Man that shit is good!

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I think he picked up most of the ones mentioned here.
