If I'm asked, I just say collectibles since my fake company has collectibles in the name, but I always like to be as vague as possible, because it is none of their business what I'm shipping as long as is not hazardous. USPS doesn't ask what's in it, just whether it is hazardous, not that I ship beer via USPS.

 

Well the good news is the box left the FedEx facility at 1:23 this morning and is westbound. This makes me feel much better.
Normally when they ask what's inside I tell them it's homemade hot sauce that my brother makes and I handle the logistics. But he caught me off guard and I wasn't in the mind frame to lie. It was an off day...

 

I think "the wife packed it" or vague answers is fine -- I would have no problem sounding unsure, and saying something like "I think mainly salad dressings and marinades", or "stuff my kid's old roommate forget to take home with him". The one thing that I DO get frequently asked is if I need "fragile" or "this side up" stickers, because I typically reuse boxes that at least have it written on them, and I usually say "sure, might as well".

 

And two boxes dropped off this morning -- one a return box from an "open trade", the other is my first ninja box ever -- I asked @mklisz for the name of his democratic LIF runner up, so someone will be getting a surprise. And I was actually happy with the target, because if I had to choose someone to send an unsolicited box to, this person might have been my first choice (and certainly would have at least been in contention)

 

Package dropped off, currently 68 degrees where it's headed!

Well then maybe he is cool with it or just doesnt care. I wish you could "grease the skids" and slip the FedEx guy some beer here and there and boom all packages get delivered but they change hands several times

Westbrook 4th Anny has been a big want of mine for a while and for you to send me one without even thinking twice was awesome and deserved a return box no matter what you say. Plus I had these 4 beers I had to dispose of and the perfect sized box with your address already on it, it was fate.

I'll be sure to drink a beer to get the Untappd badge, but I tend to switch it up to Irish Whiskey on St Patty's. This year I'm planning on Jameson 18 Year, but may go with Redbreast 12 Year Single Pot Still instead. Decisions, decisions...

 

Assuming I finally have the participant list right and didn't screw up anything (which is far from a sure bet), I think you're down to one possibility...

 

Since my package is in transit, I will give better hints. My package (that doesn't sound so good) is heading to a place that I shouldn't mess with.

Anyone have issues with transit times lately? This package is taking from Monday to Friday to get to my target. I've sent to this state before (but never this target) and it has always only taken 3 days.
