Thanks for taking the time to comment Jeff. Much Appreciated.

The challenges associated with tracking someone who's determined to buy more than one bottle must be tough, I can't imagine if you had to track CC sales over multiple days.

Cheers. Enjoy all. Again hoping I'll get the chance to pop in again soon. The visit I had in October and again in January were amazing, trying to carve out another weekend where I can pop over...

Most releases last at least 2 weekends. If you can't make it to JK on either weekend (myself included), you've had a greater chance at a great beer release than just about anything comparable in distribution. I love the @jesterkingbeer system and appreciate how much thought they have put into it.

Until we start seeing 10K bottle in a batch I highly doubt we will see 2 bottle limits.

Not to put words in your mouth but I'm reading your comment to mean that the people who support you most are very important to you and are treated accordingly. You try to make everything fair, which means being appreciative of your biggest supporters. Again, sorry if I got that wrong but your approach makes perfect sense to me, even if I'm an out of towner has to wait like everyone else. I get it and have no issue with it.

I wish they could do the reservation system again like they did for batch 1 Atrial and batch 1 MvB. I remember those weekends being much more relaxing.

I would argue that the reservation system makes it even easier for people to mule and even less people will get to try it. I'm glad it's limit 1 and it lasts longer at the brewery, even though I may be somewhat biased as a local. I'm looking forward to unlimited pours of this at the brewery as much as I am just getting bottles to go of it...maybe more so.

The only problem that occurs at JK bottles to go is how slow it is. I got in line last weekend with two people in front of me and it took 30 minutes to get my Repose. One person didn't know the bottles weren't cold and wanted to drink them on site and the other guy asked what every beer tasted like. Go inside and taste them! I understand they will probably have a separate tent for the sale of MvB but still, this is a recurring problem of people not knowing how the bottles to go works.

I think that's fair, if not overly generous. Cheers.

The funny thing is, I think that a majority (note - not ALL) of the people who dislike the 1 bottle system are people who want to use the beer as trade bait, and are bummed out that they actually have to go out there more than once to get the bottles they need/want to trade.

Personally, I just want a few bottles to keep, to drink over the course of the year. I guess I'm "local", although from where I live on the Round Rock/Cedar Park/Georgetown border, it takes me 60-90 minutes each way to get there, but I'll go out there multiple times just to drink their beers on site, and then hold on to whatever bottles I also get. I usually try to bring the family out there at least once as well, just to enjoy a day in the hill country.

Would I like to to be a 2 or 3 bottle limit? Sure, for totally selfish reasons (less driving!) that would be great, but I totally understand and appreciate why they do it they way they do, and will continue to go there as often as I possibly can.

I make the trip from Dallas (that is 8 hours round trip, if you are counting), which means that I don't get to go as often as I would like.

Am I sad I can only get one on each trip? You betcha. Do I blame them for keeping it at one bottle limit? Absolutely not.

First, it is their business, and they can run it as they see fit. Second, they have always stated that they want to get the beer into as many hands as possible, and the limit facilitates that. Third, there are just not enough bottles of most of these releases to up the limit as of yet.

I would assume that as they continue to make more of the fruited sours, the limits have a chance to rise (i.e. like Atrial).

Agrer^ I come from 45mins south of houston and I'm glad it is 1 as well. That atleast almost always insures that if I make the trip out I can get a bottle instead of making the drive only to miss out

About how long do you anticipate the line being this weekend? Also will we be waiting outdoors? Would be nice to be prepared for the rain.
