I've traded and bought for some pte- but I am looking to get a few growlers of PTY? Is it very difficult? It seems so......

No growlers fills of pty so you would have to make the trek to one of the few states/cities that actually get it.

The only way you will get a growler of PTY is by having a VERY good relationship with Vinnie or some of the places that snag a keg of this each year. Not that it does not happen, but I know at least some of the bar owners who get PTY each year, and I have never heard of any of them ever filling even a small flip bottle of PTY.

RR stopped filling growlers of this a couple of years back.

It's downright impossible. You basically will need to fly to CA for the release and drink it on tap, or get lucky and hope they bring it to a fest that you are at.

Yes, it's difficult. My suggestion- Seek out some Alpine bottles, and try their array of IPA/DIPAs. They give RR a run for their money, no doubt.

    1. Construct a time machine
    2. Go forward 5 years in the future
    3. Check out the local beer store, PTY may be in bottles on the shelf by then.
    4. Come back to present and brag that you not only have PTY but that the bottled on date is still 4+ yr in the future

In a twist of irony, Photekut's time machine takes him to the dystopian 2016 where tiny vials of King Henry have become the only trusted currency and the underling morlocks toil effortless as a subterranean culture for a few precious drops, to provide a better life.

"But- it's 2016!? That beer should have fallen off by now, I mean, you morlocks have literally CASES of Prince Henry, just finished from the B2 Rare that came out in 2015."

"Yesssthhhsshh buttt you scheee- KING HENRY waschhh only madeee onscheee, and when the Greek economy failed, the only truschteddd resoursche replaced GOLDDSSSS as the currency"

Then Photekut realized that his time machine ran on King Henry and that he was stranded in this timeline, resulting in 82 minutes of tribulations, until he realized that he was King Henry all along, and became a rounded character as a result. fin.

The secret RR handshake with the bar tender unlocks the hidden cold box with all the PTY....just FYI.
