100 bucks for the fest, 100 for 4 bottles is how I look at it. That festival was worth 100 bucks in my mind, and I've got no problem paying 25 for Hunahpu. I'll probably end up trading them for Black Tuesdays eventually.

I acquired my '15 huna bottle from a friend who was able to go. I grabbed him a bottle of MBCP when i went down to funky buddha and gave him a can of Luscious when I got a 4 pack in a trade recently. I also just gave him a speedway stout because he mentioned that he hadn't tried it yet. we both think we're good on each end as he got to drink beer he couldn't get otherwise and I got a bottle of Huna. I know for a fact that I couldn't land one that way on the ISO/FT boards. I would probably get laughed out of there. It's all about what @Mangbus said about long term trade partners and friends. I know he did me a solid and I'll hook him up at the next chance.

I will be going to Peg's Friday and Huna day next year if I can score tickets.

I'm fucking dying over here. Basically chalked it up to detox on Monday but my flight home Tuesday was worse. Doesn't help that my wife has the plague or so it seems. I need to dry out for a week haha

How many El Cat members? If they're allowing 4 per member that can give us an idea of new bottle count.

1500. so an extra 6000 at least which brings the total to at least 14,000 bottles.

They didn't guarantee that every member could/would get bottles. And it's only 2/person if it is a trustee picking it up.

I doubt they have 6000 more bottles to sell. The only gave 2 days notice, the release is late Sunday... Those both seem to be attempts to limit the crowd a bit to locals.

And not every El Catador member is going to want four (or four more). There are always number of members that pass on purchasing the extra bottles

There is no way there is an extra 6,000. If there was they would have guaranteed all members their four and allowed for sporadic pick ups during the week to avoid the potential cluster. In addition, they would not have lowered the amount for trustees as well if they had enough to cover all members at 4pp.

Did they ever answer if someone could trustee for multiple people and pick up 2 bottles for each person they are trustee for?

Ok, so there is less of it. That is important. Is it still an extremely mediocre beer? That would also be important.
