    SCHUTZENGEL WHITE IPA IS MAKING ITS WAY TO MILWAUKEE TODAY! and over the next few weeks.

    In hopes of spring and skies of blue, we are delighted to announce the release of Schutzengel, our White IPA, and newest beer in our seasonal lineup. Brewed with oats and lactose, this cloudy beer comes in at 6% ABV.

    Figured I would start a thread inspired by the two for Central Waters and New Glarus. What is the consensus on this one?

    Really enjoyed it, easy drinking with very nice clean tropical hop flavor, definitely worth picking up.

    Hopefully Howler and/or Sparkly Eyes will be on the horizon soon. Best WI DIPAs, imo. Sorry New Glarus. :slight_smile:

    I hope I can find some Black Husky when I am in WI next week.

    OT, I am still a little baffled that Black Husky has no dustribution in Green Bay.

    I just have family in the Green Bay area that I visit a few times per year. I am not sure how keen they would be on helping at out of towner. What I am really hoping for sales at the brewing facility in the future.

    Very good, hoppy barleywine. The change to using Hull Melon hops is intriguing and I'll definitely be picking one up.

    It's been around at Star before.. I drank (and very much enjoyed) a few bottles in the past. Definitely will look forward to trying it again.

    Kind of wish it was an English Barleywine, would love to see there take on that. Bet it would be world class.

    So...looks like Black Husky is moving to Milwaukee. New, larger facility with a taproom in Riverwest. I don't drink their beer that often, but I do enjoy the occasional Big Buck or 12 Dog, and it could be a fun tap room to visit. Might be nice if the larger capacity allows them to bottle something other than bombers.

    I need to try a 12 dog. I've had a few beers (all hoppy offerings) by them, I'm interested to see how their darker beers are.
