I just wasn't sure based on the note they put on the BPT event. Why would they say your ticket admits you if no ticket is needed? From the event flyer:

    RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room starting at 12pm. This will be the easiest and most fun day to pick-up your bottles. We will have some cool stuff on-tap, and it'll be a damn good time. If you've been meaning to visit us to buy some of our super rad tulip glasses, a couple bags of our awesome house roasted coffee, and a shirt or two, this is the time to do it.

I don't know. But this post says otherwise.

Jacob came on here when someone else asked the question and confirmed. Their tasting room is open to the public like every other day...unless they are hosting a wedding after-party. =P

I think that technically speaking, a BPT cannot be used for a "beer" in and of itself, so what you are officially paying for is a ticket to the release party.

Ordered a flight while picking up my bottles, the coconut and coffee variants are amazing! IMO they knocked it out of the park on these two.

Coconut was good, I wished it tasted like it smelled. Smell was the best part.
Coffee on the other hand was amazing! I would love to have a bottle.
Didn't get any bottles this time around, glad I got to try it tho.

IMO the regular bourbon was awesome. Coffee was a bit much for me but if you love that bitter coffee flavor then it's the beer for you. I loved the coconut and thought it tasted as good as it smelled. Great series and release overall!

    Coconut was amazing.
I thought Coffee was actually too roasty - it completely overwhelmed any barrel character.
    Regular bourbon was good.

Hopefully this is as good as it sounds and is a good consolation prize for people that missed out on the BA Monsters' Park.

Draft batches of BH w/ nibs and coconut have been delicious, I suspect bottles will be as well. Looking forward to picking some up.

Coconut was very good, same for the reg ba, the coffee reminded me of bcbcs or jbm, if you like coffee you'll love this. Overall I was very happy with the beers.

The cask of Black House with Coconut and Cocoa was lighter than the Monsters' (obviously), but still very wonderful.

Any other impressions from the Monster's park variants from yesterday?

I was pretty impressed overall with the variants. I thought the regular bourbon was a little bit hot, but the coffee was perfectly balanced for my tastes. The coconut was amazing. They really got great flavor/aroma extraction. All 3 were definitely on the sweeter end for an imperial stout, but not cloying. On draft they had a decent amount of carb, I found myself knocking out the extra carb from solution to enjoy them more.

One thing I will note is that they were served in innapriprioate glass-wear. Modem Tones needs to get something better than those tumblers if they are going to be serving $15 taster trays of 3 beers. The aroma will be even more pungent when they are served in a tulip or snifter.

They serve everything in those lowball glasses. I find it pretty strange. It also doesn't allow for actual tasters. Sometimes I don't need / want 7-8 ounces, you know?

I wouldn't mind the "half pour" glasses if they were big enough to at least allow for some head on the beer. Every time I get one, they're darn near overflowing and utterly headless. I mean, I appreciate that I guess the bartender is trying to maximize the amount of beer they're giving me, but it's really not ideal for smelling the beer. Of course, I also have a giant schnoz, so anything less than a punchbowl is probably too small for me.
