Fairly straightforward, what do you put your German beer into? This can even be a catch-all glassware thread if you want, basically spring boarding off the discussion in the other thread on this forum.

I keep it simple and don't discriminate, only decision is short or tall pour::

I suppose with the right emphasis, Anchor Hocking could pass.

I really don't have much German specific glassware unfortunately since it's so sparse.

I do have a Schlenkerla type pint which I love for my Heller Trum goodies. just like this one
I have some Gaffel Stanges for when I have kolsch, and I use a generic plain wheat ale or my curved wheat ale glass for them wheaty goodies.
I love my Libbey style pilsners for any pils, since they are thicker and more rugged. I have broken many pils glasses since they are usually thinner and have a tendency to tip. These are real solid plus I love the fact they have a hint of tapering to accent aromas. like this one !
but other than the Schlenkerla or Gaffel stanges those are the only German brewery specific ones I have.
I'd love to get others, but heck I'd rather get the beers more than the glasses :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm a big fan of this one for Maibocks and pilsners...

You can't see the label here, but this is one of my favorite glasses period from Kulmbacher. I use it for Helles, some Rauchbiers, and US "session beers". A Jack's Abby "Landbier" is in the glass in this picture.

Not my own picture, but I recently had this beer in my glass, and it looked exactly like this picture. I use the Weihenstephan glass for all German wheat beers.

Most Maerzens, and some Helles will end up in this glass. It's a dimpled 0.5 liter Sam Adams Octoberfest mug. In this case a doppelbock ended up in it. Gets used for many German 16.9 oz. bottles I purchase.

I don't have pictures of them, but I would say pilsners are the ones I use multiple glasses for. The Prima above, the footed Pilsner Urquell from the other thread, and a flute-style pilsner glass or two.

My go-to glass for the majority of German styles is the Willi Becher (like the Kulmbacher) that came in the Libbey set. The set also came with a nice Weizen glass and a "stylized" Pilsner that I've put to good use with their appropriate styles, though the Becher works fine for a Pils now and again (don't tell MJ! :grinning:).

I have a couple full Maß and half Maß, but I usually don't consume that kind of quantity of one beer in a sitting anymore.

I have a really nice, slightly different styled, .5 l HB Becher glass that's a favorite. If I find something good to pour into it this afternoon I'll snap a shot for the thread.

I have a variety of glassware to drink various German style beers.

The glass I use most often is the Pilsner glass to drink my homebrewed Pilsners and commercial Pilsners,

The most versatile glass is the Wille Becher since it is suitable for many beer styles.

I use a Stange for my homebrewed Kolsch beers (I have a batch conditioning now).

Needless to say the Weihenstephan glass for Hefeweizen beers.

I don’t use the Maß glasses too often; the last time was for a Helles Bock at the annual Sly Fox Bock Fest.

The glasses look much better with beer in them!

Any suggestions for my second Fastenbier of the season tonight? I used this last time...

That Becher will work nicely. You don't have a clay krug, do you?

PS Everyone - I am in the process of re-branding. I have left my profile pic unchanged so as not to totally lose everyone, but I have asked for and received a name change. Feel free to address me however you'd like. Sincerely, the artist formerly known as...

To answer the original question, here's my collection:
Wheat beer glass - wheat beer, obviously
Alt beer stange - alts & Kölsch, although I have yet to put a Kölsch into this glass for fear of what might happen.
Pilsner pokal - Pilsners and the one Gose I had that one time
Willi Becher - any other filtered lagers like Hells, Dunkels, Märzens, Bocks, etc.
Steinkrug - unfiltered lagers including Kellerbier
Maßkrug - filtered lagers such as Hells, Dunkels, or Oktoberfestbiers. I don't use it much.
    Schlenkerla doppelbock tulip - doppelbocks
Fancy Pants Glass - serves no real purpose but I use it sometimes anyway.
