Hello. Could someone point me in the direction of a thread or resource that details which de Garde beers are relatively available and which ones are one time/brewery only/super-limited? I have no idea which are reasonable and my trade proposal for a sampler box of HF/Trillium for a sampler box of more common de Garde was flagged as an auction.

I could have listed something like, Arthur + Anna for Apricot BU but there would have been about a dozen messages of people taking a dump on my post and of course, the moderators would have left it up no problem. I suppose I can get around this by listing every single thing de Garde makes but I would prefer not going that route. I'd appreciate any info you guys can offer. Thanks!

Go look on their Facebook. They post what's available in the tap room pretty much every week, so you can see what the more common ones are.

What the poster above said, and find their post for the party/bottle release they had a month ago - I'm sure you'll find a lot of people went the next day and stocked up on extras.

Bu Weisse, Petit Desay, and Tableau Rouge are "relatively available", i.e. distributed and made in moderately large quantities.

Everything else is one (or two) time and pretty much brewery only (now and then a few cases do end up in one or two stores). Quantities vary from 200-1000 bottles. Limits vary from 1-unlimited. Availability at the brewery ranges from "you needed to be in line hours before opening" to weeks.

As mentioned, Facebook is a good place to get a better sense.

(Specific to your example, I would expect "shelf" HF to go $4$ with most de Garde that wasn't a 1 or 2 bottle limit.)

Here's a list of the beers which were only available to The Keepers, De Garde's membership club. These were never offered for public sale, and were limited to one bottle per membership. File these under "super limited":

    2014 Keeper's bottles:
    • The Lily (200 bottles)
    • Imperial Vin Bu (200 bottles)
    • Bière de Garde, Port Barrel-aged
    • Unblended Connak
    • Cherry Rum Bu
    • Belle Ensemble
    • Corbeau Noir
(I can't remember the 2nd Keeper's beer which was released with the Bière de Garde.)

There are 2 separate memberships for 2015: Berliners and Wild Ales.

    1st Quarter Berliners:
    • Imperial Purple Raz Bu
    • Imperial Berry Bu
    1st Quarter Wild Ales:
    • L'Hiver Mélange No. 2
    • Bière Violet

the fact that you can designate yourself as a "berliner" or a "wild ale" makes me jealous of everyone in the club and also kind of reminds me of hogwarts.

Some guy on another website traded a bunch of De Garde for a bunch of Pringles chips?! Anybody see that?

Is De Garde that easy to get?

Absolutely. Much easier to find than Pringle chips.

Are we talking shelf Pringles or the factory-only flavors?

Clearly only the Pappy van Pringle variants.

I only eat Pringles which have been aged in barrels that previously held Pappy, then maple syrup, then beer, then coffee beans.

There are flavors such as "soft shell crab", "night club", and "consumme" out there. He wanted over 50 different flavors and apparently struck a deal for 2 cases of De Garde goods.

    Dood must love Pringles.

I hate living down here in Eugene. We don't get any of those special, limited release, barrel aged pringles down here in Eugene. Grrrrr..... grrrrrrrrr...
