    Morning BA

I am definitely going to try and pick this up a few more times before it's gone. I forgot how much I love this beer. Centennial hops are truly one of my favorites.

This is such a great English barleywine. I haven't had it in a while. Should really keep some around. Big raisin, cherry, plum, fig, and apple with balanced caramel, brown sugar, and toasted malt balance. This is pretty fresh so there is some balancing bitterness, but nothing huge. Delicious!

Absolutely insane, I haven't drank one of these in a few years. Huge dark chocolate, cocoa, toffee, molasses, toast, tobacco, leather, raisin, prune, and light soy sauce. Unbelievable complexity. Very smooth sipper with only a light lingering warmth after the finish for alcohol; zero booziness. Still got one left from this vintage, and also a 2008. I'll probably crack it on it's 10 year anniversary in January.

    Cheers!

This album is going to definitely be a top 5 metal album of the whole year.

Nice airport , flew in and out a few times during my days at Cortland State. Peoples Express $30 from Syr to Newark ! Couldn't beat it in a pinch.

It's fantastic. Carton is doing some amazing things. Proud to have such a great brewery in our state. Tastes just like it says, cream and 2 sugars. Dangerous at 12% tho. Too bad it's so hard to get ahold of.

Good morning BAs! Another snowy morning here in NW PA - the birds have just thawed out enough to begin a few belated squawks and the sun is reflecting off the snow. Next week should finish off our current construction project and signal the start of the next one - residing the residence - assuming we can get the siding we want in a timely manner. Ah well. Today's dip into the beer cellar yields this:

I'm kind of disappointed in this - very little hop notes present, more like a slightly hoppy brown ale than an IPA, black or otherwise. The other stuff I've had from Revolution has been very good - this not so much. Still, it's drinkable; doesn't seem to be hopped to the level of a pale ale. Since the bottle is not dated, another case of caveat emptor.
