Drinking : Weekday vs Weekend...

I saw on one of those TV survival shows you can't go more than 3 days without drinking. Now, they might have meant water, but I'm not taking the chance.

After you have started, it is difficult not to drink everyday. I attempt to put a day or two in between each day I have a beer(s), except on the weekend. I strongly believe, your health should be a top priority. How are you going to continue enjoying all of these great craft beers if you are dead, or have complications from heavy drinking, and cannot drink anymore

 

It depends mostly on how many of my kids are sick and are likely to be up all night. A crying, barfing kid will ruin even the best buzz.

In general, I'm a one beer a weeknight guy and whatever I feel like on the weekends. I do drink a lot of wine as well, especially if I'm cooking but will rarely have beer and wine on the same night.

 

I've always tended to find that after working out or a hard day of physical labour I am not very interested in beer.

That's why I don't really work out anymore....

 

I drink whenever I feel like it. Tonight I'm sober, tomorrow I might be far from sober.

 

Only drink on weekends. Could easily drink everyday, just a personal choice I made.

Real accurate is what it is...

 

I drink the most beer on the weekends mainly as a discipline to save myself some money. With my income I can't really justify paying craft beer prices daily and i refuse to drink the working mans beer because it tastes like piss.

 

I never drink on the weekdays, I'm in PA school. That might change when I graduate. But for Friday and Saturdays, I ALWAYS have a beer.

 

I usually limit myself to one beer a night Monday through Thrusday. On Friday and Saturday I usually have between three and four a night. I usually always take a break from beer on Sunday.

 

I selected weekday because my "weekend" is typically Wednesday and Thursday since those are my usual days off. I wish I had more Saturdays and Sundays off.

 

They're pretty much the same for me. I average 1 or 2 bottles/cans every night. Once in a while I'll go to 3 and if I have company over then it might go up from there. Bottom line, there is no distinction between weekdays and weekends. I like to drink beer with dinner and sometimes afterwards; all bottles/can volumes included.

 

I mainly, like 99% of the time, only drink on the weekends (Friday night through Sunday evening) unless I'm on vacation it there is a big sporting event on for which I'll have a beer or two for.

 

It always amazes me how many BA's drink only on weekends.

I only drink on weekends and almost never on a week day. I might make an exception if I go to a ball game or have softball.
The weekend starts Wednesday night and ends on Monday night.

 

Weekdays: maybe 1 or 2.

Weekends: anything goes.
