so my first homebrew (all-grain saison) is at about 4 weeks bottle conditioning and im lovin it.

so i think about my favorite saison and think how i compare?
this may be crazy, or biased, (or both... whatever) but i like mine better
mine is slightly boozy but the yeastness (WY 3711) and fruity flavors just really overwhelm all negative aspects.

im feeling like this new hobby might take over my life and im ok with that.

so cheers to all my fellow brewers and wish me continued luck to brew great beer!

    Biased? nah...

It's nice to get honest feedback though – have some people try it outside your circle of friends and family. Put it in a homebrew comp. I'm not saying it's not amazing, it could very well be... but sometimes it's a good way of keeping you from getting too big of a head with your home brews

Congrats. There's definitely nothing wrong with being stoked about a brew you made yourself. It's an amazing feeling when something you invest that much time and effort in comes out above-average. But like Lukass said, share it with friends and family and ask for honest feedback, consider joining a brew club, and share it there as well. This will help you in the long run towards becoming a better brewer, which it sounds like you are interested in becoming.

    Cheers, and continued success.
