Crazy Bruces in West Hartford was sold out by 3pm. CBM by Westfarms had some for $7.00 with a 2 per limit.

I think your best bet to get KBS is to go (in person) to your local shops and ask. It'll come and go quickly, I've seen reports of limits from 1 bottle to a 4 pack per person.

 

Couldn't agree more, my phone rang off the hook yesterday. Guess what no kbs went out the door cause not one person came in a me asked all phone calls

nice try, i'm sure I speak for most people that have a store when I say "the phone shit sucks" , the thrill is in the hunt wheres the hunt if we pick up and say "yup got it sittin on the shelf"

I got a 4pk this afternoon. I was also stunned that my place, usually not shy with the hefty mark-up, was selling for $19.99.

What's even better? While checking out, the NEBCO delivery guy came in with a case of Gandhi Bot. Schwing! #humblebrag

Mt Carmel Hamden said they sold me their last 4pk ($21) so some places got it, which leads me to think more places got it and are lying/hoarding it for regulars.

 

the guys at my store told me Founders tied KBS distro to the amt of All Day IPA stores have sold in the past year. sounded like a crock but maybe it's true?

 

Cheers in East Hampton, where our buddy Homebrew here works, is one of those stores. Despite what he says, I showed up without calling (as he so kindly requested) just minutes after he posted the message about "the hunt" and was told they sold out. I get wanting to sell to regulars, but if you're a BA, then don't pump your store on the forums when it suits you and act totally differently in practice. Shitty, shitty business. Thanks for wasting over an hour of my time and however much gas it took round trip.

That being said, head to Harvest Wine and Spirits in West Hartford. I managed to score 2 bottles of KBS there, $5.99 a piece. Seriously, just ask. They're cool people and thanks to them I'll finally be able to try some KBS.

 

I picked up 2 bottles today for $5/each. The truck literally pulled up as I was meandering around the store. I even snagged some SoS Talk about luck!

 

Plan B in Glastonbury has a Founders take over tonight and is tapping KBS

 

Disappointed face @Homebrew if that's the case. Could be they got rushed though after he posted about it. I'm sure plenty of people on the forums have seen him mention his store before.
