Firestone Walker Parabola 2015

Actually, I get my Parabola from CA traders. Much easier than running around here looking for it

 

I've got about a case to trade. Down for IP in LA, spreading the love if you just haven't found a bottle. Going to DLD this year too, bringing a couple there.

 

Just snagged a single bottle near Deerfield for $16.99. Pretty excited, about the find and the price...although it's likely I'm not even going to drink it.

 

Anyone know when these expect to drop in New England parts? (VT/NH/ME especially?) I haven't heard anything from my locals, but we get almost anything FW that makes its footprint up here and supposedly this is no different.

 

Managed to get 9 (Traded 1) of the 2015s. Still have 5 2014s. But, damn, losing sleep over not getting my hands on more lol. This stuff is addicting.

 

Last friday I went to BevMo here is my town, which is usually a crappy one compared to the dozen in surrounding cities, and I asked if they have any Parabola. The guy told me that they have not received anything from Firestone and unsure if they will, but check back wednesday when their shipments come in. Today I called bevmo and the same guy I talked to answered the phone and I asked him if any Parabola came in today and he said no, but a shipment came in last friday and they sold out of it already lol.

 

I really hope they put Parabola back online. That was my game lol. I work full time, so I can't go running around town during the release weeks. I used the BevMo inventory and email notification to hang with the crowd and get my hands on some.

My son got two, and I told him not to come for Easter if he didn't get at least one, jk. Honestly, I would have struck out if my kid wasn't up there ready to pounce because you never know exactly when it's coming out, unlike Bourbon County. We'll
miss out one of these days since Tucson has now caught the limited release fever like most places, but I was more stoked to find the Enjoy By in 12 oz. bottles than anything else this year.

 

so, from what I can gather from this thread, it seems like only Cali has gotten it so far. Anyone seen it on the east coast or know when it arrives? I've seen it on the "coming soon" board at a few total wines but noone knows when the hell it actually is getting here

So you're complaining about Bevmo when you already got 10 bottles? Makes sense. People like you are the reason Bevmo sells out in like 4 hours. Don't complain if you got that many already.

 

HUH? I am not complaining. Just thought it was funny. WTF!!! lol. Was just sharing a story. Holy cow! haha.

Oh, and P.S., I only have 8 bottles But, yes, I know I got very luck getting that much. Oh and people like me? lol what? The people who are the reason why bevmo sells out in 4 hours are the ones that get to walk into the store at opening, while people like me are at work from 7am to 4pm. I got very very luck this year. But, smooth one bud. Makes sense

 

FW releases have had significant distribution lag on the East Coast. XVIII landed months after it opened up in Cali. Had some on tap at end of Feb, and not because the bar was hoarding it.

That said, as soon as I get my one case allocation (and hand sell to regulars), I'll let the community know it's out in the Boston area.

I saw the Foodery Roxborough and the Craft Beer Outlet post saying they got it in today. No idea if they still have any left though.

 

picked one up in Boise on a work trip this week. just sitting on the Whole Foods shelf. couldn't resist. couldn't check a bag so just HAD to drink it. this year's is ridiculous fresh.
