So last night I had a Brouwerij Alken-Maes Grimbergen Dubbel (ha thats a mouthful). I really enjoyed it and want to try others like it.

I'd say this one, but there are so many I want to try.

Westvleteren 8. I'm one of those weirdos that prefers it to the 12.

Ommegang makes lovely doubles. I really enjoyed valar morgulis although abbey ale is brightly wonderful!

If you enjoy dubbels - give dark weizenbocks a shot. I know they're totally different, but I find the flavor profiles line up.

Any barrel aged dubbel made by Russian River or The Alchemist. I'll only buy it though if I had to wait in line for more than 2 hours.

Chimay Red is my favorite of the few dubbels I've had.

Westvleteren 8 is probably the best dubbel out there.

Of the more attainable ones, Westmalle Dubbel is outstanding, and St. Bernardus Prior 8 isn't far behind. Both are fantastic choices. Try 'em out if you get a chance.

Came in here to say that this is my favorite Dubbel as well. Second favorite is New Belgium Abbey. I really didn't care for St. Bernardus dubbels.

... but I haven't met an authentic dubbel I didn't love, so I'll take them all.

LOVE Grimbergen Dubbel. Probably the first beer that really got me into craft.
