You gotta get on untappd. It's so convenient. Don't get too hyped up, I include a case of miller lite in all my BIFS.

    Hint 9:

Minerals might be obtained after excision of the letter that meant 100 to the Romans,
and then division by the number of sides of a cube, and the only Mersenne safe prime number.

Uhm ...Was that meant to be self-aggrandizing or self-deprecating?

So?.... That could be good. maybe he'l' complete his trade, get his "bigger" whale, and then get your box and get his beer "back"
    Win-win in my book.

If could get a back up for every beer i traded and still do the trade I'd be pretty happy.

@jschott75 @whyteboy003 was my shipper in the last stout bif, let me know if you need me to drive over to help you drink it. Or better yet, just bring it all to my next beer geek poker game

Well, I can't trust that my target's porch can handle the stress that the Hoosier heart breaker and porch wrecker is about to unload. A small 62 oz salvo of non stouts will launch tomorrow. Porch bombs 2 (130 oz) and 3 (132 oz) will be fired Monday and Tuesday of next week. I hope my target doesn't mind that I have properly aged a couple of the imperial stouts. Proost!

This made me stop and think for a solid minute whether or not my target is receiving any stouts that aren't imperial... he is. Phew!

So I don't know how he did it, as I have UPS and FedEx alerts on but somehow @bevoduz ninja'd me!!

I come home to a nice box sitting in the hallway and I don't get a chance to look at it much as we head out for dinner immediately. W get home and my little one and I go downstairs, me carrying the box. I open it up and all I see are packing peanuts everywhere. I clean them out and I see I nice trash bag. Good packing form. I open up the trash bag..............and soy sauce smell. Ut Oh.......looks like we have a fallen soldier. I start pulling out wonderful sticky bottle after sticky bottle. But hey.......sticky wipes off!! The box never ends!!! And here are the survivors in all their glory:
    Hopslam!
    Grapefruit Sculpin!
    NYFRB!
And now the wonderful homebrews....I don't know a lot about any of them so descriptions by the brewer would be greatly appreciated! :grinning:
Coffee Fauxbraxas- what kind of coffee might be in this????
    The Blond Barista x2
    Izzy the Great
    [IMG]
    Suprication!
    Mango Inferno!
Beach Babe Pina Colada Blonde! coconut?? Yes!
Big Hair Beaver 15% RIS ! Oh My this sounds awesome
    [IMG]
Cerise Un Evier De Cuisine (Bourbon Barrel Cherry stout?) - wow!!
Bourbon Vanilla Big Hair Beaver - Wow this sounds amazing!
Sweet Berry Mead - I have never had mead......can not wait!

The fallen solder was a stout I believe, going from the color and smell. I didn't mess with the shattered glass too much (it was one from the bottom of the box) and I have no idea what it was. But I will sorely miss any of your beer.

This is an absolutely amazing box and he sent it for no reason at all! A great guy and a very generous dude!

Payback will be in your future...........Pizza Boy will be in your future....among other things.

    Thanks again...........I feel honored!

I have to send you another box, the liquid mounds bar is the fallen soldier!

So Here's a quick rundown of each (and I believe all are on untappd). These are going to prove helpful to another member of this bif tomorrow

Blond Barista - Some generous soul sent me some blue mountain coffee, so I decided to try something different. As you'd figure, it's a blonde ale, with coffee! This beer was completely inspired by the coffee I received, at just the right time.

Beach Babe - the same blonde ale as the barista, but rather than coffee it was aged with fresh pineapple and toasted coconut (thinking a rum barrel version of this might be in order)

Izzy the great - Classic Russian Imperial Stout Aged on port soaked oak. Inspired by Kate the Great (which I've never had) and named after my daughter Izzy who's great!

Mango Inferno - mango fruit beer with habanero, about 10%abv

Coffee Fauxbraxas - use your imagination, it's consistently placing well in competitions though

Supprication - use your imagination, but drink this one soon, it was co2 purged, but filled with a picnic tap unlike the proper bottling like the other bottles (only one beer gun right now, don't want sour bugs in it). Oh, and this was my first sour beer attempt.

Cerise - Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout, original base beer that morphed into faubraxas

Big Hair Beaver - My latest attempt at getting something in the vicinity of dark lord. It's not dark lord, but I love it. This one also has some blue mountain coffee in it...

Bourbon Vanilla Big Hair Beaver - Same as above, but with a lot of bourbon, wood, and vanilla!

    Liquid Mounds Bar - RIP...

I look forward to your feedback!

And anyone attending DLD get in touch with me and sample most of these in person!
