Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

So my first box from @jlira landed yesterday, but with the crazy weekend I'm just now finding time for pron!

Very sweet box, lots of wants and should be wants, including the always awesome beers I've never heard of!

I'll start it off with a #VBS of a huge recent want (which he eluded to in a clue I'd be getting)

How bizarre.

Maybe they thought those were bundles of drugs??

Box number two for my target boxed up and going out tomorrow....a piece of soft swag in the box however I have a delicate piece for him I plan to give him on May 2nd IP. Cheers and may God have mercy on your porch.

I spoke with the brewer at the brewpub. He said the 2nd batch was brewed at CCB on a larger system and bottled there in 750ml bottles. He took the same recipe, divided it by 5 and brewed it at the brewpub this time. With the smaller batch size and the fact that the brewpub does not have a bottling line, they went with 16oz growlers.

 

This was on PB s side not on BA's side…. sorry not sure what happened, but we , BA , didn't delete it...

 

So I'm not on call today and hoping to get my target's box packed up and shipped out. More than likely it will be two boxes but who's counting at this point? I just hope the air force doesn't confiscate them.

 

Argh. Gonna have to move it to the garage, in case it explodes. I have actually had bottle bombs go off in my man cave before. Not a good time.

 

Stout box is out to my target - porch destruction estimated to be Friday.

3 different boxes went to 3 different guys in OH, funny how that works sometimes.

 

6 boxes were picked up from my porch this morning, 3 of which were for this BIF and are heading north. I can't wait to get home and review the CCTV footage from my front porch/driveway and see the delivery drivers expression when he/she walked up to the stack of boxes. I even left him/her a dolly to use. Poor driver had 140 lbs of boxes to load. 3 business days (ground) till target is reaach, prepare your porch.

Target: Open the 16x16x15 box with the green duck on it first. It has a few items that will require fridgeration ASAP. Think fresh and hoppy. I wrapped them right out of the fridge 2am this morning. Hope you and your tasting group enjoy!

 

IMHO that's too much to ship in a box that size – no way to get in enough padding to protect things sufficiently against both hard contact with the ground and each other. I'd split that up into two boxes or at least use a bigger box to accommodate more padding.
