The Independence Enjoy By; God Bless America and Stone Brewing! I know all the hopheads are enjoying the 12 oz. format, and this lovely batch in particular. My question for those in the know is whether the releases (first world problems, I know) are going to be a little more spaced out now that it is available in sixers?[IMG]

It is spaced out but it seems the last couple just landed around here. Hopefully it comes in less than $17 a sixer so I can try it again.

I've already heard rumors that it's not as good as the 4/20 batch.

Loving the 6-packs. $16.99 for six is even cheaper (per ounce) than $8/$9 a bomber and I would much rather have a six pack than three bombers. Hopefully this continues to be offered like this and maybe it will start a trend. Stone RIS would be even more amazing if offered in 6-packs.

On the same topic, I know there is always discussion about it but did we ever get any confirmation that Enjoy By's recipe changes batch to batch?

I noticed that with the 4.20.2015 release, the amount of "days to consume fresh" went from 35 to 37.

The 7/4/2015 batch is already out of date. I'm not buying it and won't drink it even if someone gave it to me for free....

I wonder what happened to the May/June release?

I listened to a beersmith podcast with Mitch Steele. He stated the batches don't change from batch to batch but the recipe has changed based on hops availability. I don't remember the hop variety but Mitch stated they used a particular hop in the beginning from New Zealand but it wasn't widely produced so they changed it to be able to get the same hops consistently.

The whole term "first world problems" is so played at this point.

Yep, that's what I was pointing out. Seemed like some people were taking it for granted that this would be available in 6x12oz format.

People were talking about the release as if it were a six pack offering. I was pointing out that the image provided was for a bomber. See below:

They will release the 7/4 version in both 6 and Bomber formats. I think I took your original comment at never seeing that particular wording on a bomber before lol. Cheers!

And here I didn't know they had already announced both offerings! Glad to see it. I was bummed thinking that it would only be in bombers.
