Lagunitas High West-Ified...this is a Lagunitas brew?

This brew is so Alien compared to their other Offerings. I enjoy this brew very much! It's not even tainted by hops. It might be my favorite Lagunitas brew yet. I mean it. Masks it's high gravity for sure. Nice aftertaste of coffee and chocolate with some rye spiciness. I'm impressed.

We've all been there, especially during Operation: Drink Down the Cellar (At Least a Little) (DD-CALL). Although, the acronym confuses me a bit (CALL?)

That label and name make it totally seem like a collaboration with Boneyard.

I need help in my own Operation: Drink Down the Cellar.

Drinking more local breweries, kinda. Brewmaster Jack's Hoppiness is a Warm Pun. This is the second hoppy beer that I've had from this brewery and I have been pleasantly surprised by both. Brewmaster Jack is definitely on my radar.

    P.S. Moar Galaxy hops FTW

Mild Ale served at 10 deg celcius. Low carbonation typical of style. The Brits don't skimp when they make a bottle. All my homebrew is bottled in reused British bottles.

    P.S. Can't stand whisky.

This year's is way less hoppy from what I can remember compared to last year's batch. Not bad though, just missing the hoppy kick in the face that I remember. But what do I remember, that was a year ago. Sure looks amazing though.

Who needs KBS or CBS when you can get a plentiful supply of this amazing beer for over 3 Months straight and counting? Well, not this guy, that's for damn sure. I'd love to try KBS if I see it, but not going out of my way for it. This already has a lot of coffee going on in my opinion.
