I avoided picking up some of this when I had the chance because grapefruit juice interacts with the medication I'm on (as it does with many medications). Now I'm thinking I should have grabbed some due to the overwhelmingly positive comments about this brew (and I really like the taste of grapefruit).

I wonder, though, how much grapefruit juice actually ends up in a single serving of this?

I tend to want to be a positive reviewer of beer. In this case, I find it to be a little artificial. Hard to make the original better. I'm glad for those who enjoy it to have the great awesome can format

Second that. Sculpin is expensive to begin with, and I just won't buy Ca brews like this without a date on it. To be honest I wouldn't buy Reg Sculpin even if I knew it was fresh, I've had it fresh on tap and it's just ok.

grapefruit sculpin is showing up all the time nowadays. For those who are asking if it is good: yes. Way better than regular sculpin

grapefruit sculpin (almost) ruined regular sculpin for me... I fear that Sierra grapefruit torpedo will have the same effect

Not cans, but I took the plunge on a six pack of GF Sculpin in bottles for the first time after much hesitancy last night. Holy shit am I bummed to have waited so long. The nose on this beer is insane, and I can understand why some people can't help but think "shandy" when they're smelling it. But that candylike sweetness doesn't follow through in the flavor, which in my opinion is a good thing. Such a good beer, and very happy to have been able to find it fresh (15085) here outside of DC.

If this shows up in in my area, I can guarantee that I will wreck my boat by the end of the summer. Far too dangerous in cans.

Not entirely sure of the status, saw a post on beer street journal. Might be draft only

My favorite IPA. But it is mis-named to me (or my taste is off). To me, it tastes like an orange creamsicle. Does anyone else have this experience with it?

I definitely detect artificial flavoring of grapefruit

Yep, I don't think I've been so happy about the increased availability of a beer here regionally that I can remember. And now cans? Yeah, this is hands down going to be my #1 go to summer beer. Actually I think I'd already decided that, but cans puts it over the top.

Hell, I was super excited to see regular Sculpin in cans, Grapefruit in cans is even better!

Thank goodness this didn't blow me away enough to unseat my regular canned 6 packs, most if which are $10 or below.
