    Maybe it's just me but if they didn't really change anything from the last version I won't seek it out. Just wasn't very good. Couldn't even finish the glass I had at the anniversary party (might have been last batch). I'm usually pretty easy to please too. I dunno... I am starting to not really care for many sour browns though.

    Their website does say first batches were aged in new oak barrels for 10 months, but "More recent versions are aged in a 45HL Foeder for 24 months."

    Was the last version from the foeders as well? This is my first time trying it.

    Had it on draft the other day and it was really good. Never had it the first time around though.

    After having it on draft a while back... Maybe at their anniversary which was batch 1 with a ton of diacetyl, this batch two was nothing like it. Same base beer but was more complex and a nice smooth sipper with enough pucker to satisfy.

    Central Market on N. Lamar was selling it this morning when my wife scored a bottle around 8:15 am.

    Sorry. My wife didn't take time to make a bottle count when she was doing her grocery shop. Will punish accordingly.

    Any sightings of this still around in the North Austin area, say between 183 and Round Rock? My wife is in Austin this evening and there is a limited range that she will drive to pick up beer for me!

    I only saw that it showed up at D&Q on the release day, and I doubt that it lasted long.
