Haven't traded since before the forum switch, not sure of current trends Saw a few bottles of GI Juliet when I stopped in a store last night. $16 a pop. Easy enough to trade if I pick them up? Would be trading for locals hopefully from the 4 states I have left (Kansas, South Dakota, Arizona, Arkansas)
I don't know about those places, but I've traded for Juliet three times now, so there are definitely people who want it!
I'm sure you can get locals for it, but it doesn't seem to have much pull for limited releases these days. By the same token though, it's probably easier to ISO locals from those states and see what they want in return - we get a billion things in MA that most of those states would likely drool over.
The "problem" (although I see it as a good problem) is that it appears GI released much more Juliet this year. It never used to sit on shelves and used to always be a 1 per person limit. No you can walk into a lot of stores and pick up 5 or 6 bottles.
Like the above post, i think as long as youre staying away from the chicago area and proximity, Juliet should have some trade clout. But also, like one of the above posts, i wouldn't expect to be getting anything super amazing for it. But there are definitely people out there who want it. And around here, are glad its readily available on the shelf.
The more important story is that $16 for Juliet is a steal. You should buy them all and drink them. Just one man's opinion (who would have done just that).
I wanted some, I got some, didn't like it (it was good, just not up my alley), so my remaining bottles will be extra'd in trades. Locals at $4$, maybe *some* select limited releases, or a very generous trader is what you'll get for it. But you should have no problem trading it away.
As long as GI isn't distributed in those states, and as long as you aren't asking for anything real limited, I'm sure there are people who would like to try it.
I had recently ran across some Juliet on the shelf, after seeing this thread I made sure to run back there this weekend and pick some up.
It was on the shelves forever at the Binny's I went to. It should be able to pull a common RR sour. My wife liked it, I didn't. The warmer it got the worse it tasted.
