    Finally got to try this. Awesome stout, a bit sweeter than I anticipated but amazing nonetheless.

    I was at an Allagash tasting and was very impressed, especially with their brett beers. They didn't bring this one, but I would bet it is great.

    BTW, note the bottled-on date: 3/30/15. The beer was 15 days old, which is damned fresh.

    A friend brought me a 32-ounce growler of Rapp Gose from Florida. Great rendition here. Salt heavy and a more pronounced bit of wheat and sweetness than the Westbrook and Anderson Valley versions. Less tart than the aforementioned brews but still enough there to please. Exceptionally easy to drink and refreshing. I wish I had more already.

    Baked Chicken breasts with side of steamed Basmati rice with fennel paired with Weihenstephaner - Hefe Weissbier

    Great beer, poor shot.
