Wicked Weed Canvas Series

    Anyone heard of this? Stella in WS just got a shipment in of Brett Burglar, which is Wicked Weed's first (to my knowledge) installment in the series. Per the bottle description, its their Hop Burglar IPA with Brett and blood orange. Picked one up to try ($10), but couldn't find any info about it anywhere...

    Picked some up at Stella last night. Cracked one last night and really liked it. I think a little time will do this one good.

    It looks like there's also ABC approval for "Canvas Series La Bonte". The original La Bonte is an "Apricot Blonde Sour" but the Canvas Series iteration is a "Brett Farmhouse Ale W Plum".

    Maybe the Canvas Series beers are intended to be new twists on existing recipes (e.g. Brett Burglar = variation of Hop Burglar)??? That's my (very speculative) guess.

    The regular Hop Burglar has blood orange as well. It's by far my least favorite IPA from WW. Probably will try this one though.

    Not trying to thread jack but does anyone know if they are still pouring red angel at the funkatorium? Will be there this weekend. I had a BA say they would sell me a bottle but may have backed out. I just want to try this since I have heard it is the second best thing they have made from reliable palates. Second to Framboos Morte. Thanks.

    Confound it, I was at WW last night, no one said BOO to me about his beer. Going to have to go back tonight and raise beer, err, cane. Well that and I have tickets to MarchFourth! at the Orange Peel.

    They had some bottles for sale at Bruisin Ales today.

    Anybody know if they are selling them at the brewery?
