    Craft beer conference in my hometown of Portland. It's like all the best beer events of an entire year squeezed into 5 days. Today gave me the opportunity to try Fou' Foune and Alpine Nelson. Later tonight is the Firestone Walker/Hair of the Dog BBA event. Poor poor liver

    They are both quite good, but the Pseudo Sue is my favorite. Really nice pale ale...

    Long ago I won a trip to the Marlboro ranch. They blasted this on the bus as we pulled into the ranch while a bunch of real cowboys rode their horses alongside the bus. Still gives me goosebumps. Thundering hooves, dust and this song.
