Holy crap! I just was able to log on for the first time today and within a minute, BAM!, ran across your post (happened to start browsing on the same page this was on), all I can say is, "Articulately said and well put", I couldn't agree with you more, brother. Now I'm going to page one to see what's going on there!! Thanks for a much needed post, I'm tired of being the bad guy at times calling people out!! Oh, and would like to add to the list: solo pictures of beverages other than beer that get posted => not cool.

 

Yes!! This a million times over. I never understand that.

 

I'm not such a stickler for the literal NOW part of it give or take a bit. I hate the mobile app and when I'm out it's just too much trouble to try to access BA on my browser, upload the pics, yada, yada. So if someone had something amazing out and wants to post the next day, I don't get my panties in a bunch about that. What I think brings down this thread are the few but regular scoundrels who very cynically, and frankly very obviously, post the same few recycled pics over and over and over again early in the thread (if you've been on this site for a bit you know what I'm talking about!) rarely with any comment about the beer or what they're doing. I can only surmise that this being done purely to get the "likes." I hate that because I recognize the pics, they aren't really sharing any experience with the group and it just feels like you're being manipulated. They're just Like *****s, who needs them?! Just say no to Like *****s!

 

I haven't had this in forever and I found a bottle from 3/24 yesterday, so....why not? Awesome brew.

Just did a whole ton of housework and now I'm rewarding myself with a delicious Belgian pale ale homebrew.

Had a few milk stouts to drink, decided to make a night of it. Milk Stout Night. MSN.



Praire Limo Tint batted first and was straight Joe Garbaggio, resulting in a drainpour.



Next up was The Temptress, which is an effing gem. Such a sleeper. The flavor profile on this is so rich and diverse I can't wrap my head around it. Drinks lovely too.



Not sure I'll make it to the Left Hand tonight. This Temptress is a tough act to follow, even for the always delicious Nitro MS.

 

Kinda like this experimental Hop 527. Strong pine nose and flavors. Not much to it, just straightforward.

 

A lot of rational discussion in a "keeping it real" situation today. Normally keeping it real goes wrong but somehow beer and logic prevailed. I remember those in the past who were real sticklers for that type of thing who fell to their own swords, *cough* fearless leader *cough*. She would probably have over 200,000 likes had she not been banned/time outed. Anyways I raise this fantastic beer in a cheers to those who play by the rules.
