No bottling dates and too cold beer are a good start.

What if the franchisees choose to carry only macro lagers and Samuel Adam's seasonals?

Hmm... good point! However, I believe that in my neck of the woods I'd see a lot more Southern Tier, Great Lakes, and a few other local/regional options.

Overpriced IPA's and IIPA's. Dear brewer's, there are many more very good to great IPA's for me to purchase. Please keep this in mind when you decide to charge me over $11.00 for a six pack. I've got about 15 differerent choices to pick from. CHEERS!

Bottling dates should be mandatory. Or Brewers should care enough to make it an industry standard.

Wouldn't you love to sit down and have a chat with some of those guy's that come up with the impossible codes?

Breweries that off 20 different beers but they are all average or below. And the other end, breweries that makes great beer but only have 4 of their 8 beers on draft at a time.

Which explains why can't some brewers bother to write something on the bottle that 99.9% of the public can easily figure out... so why can't you..?

    Ya know

Or fresh well made American Lagers for that matter. Although SN Nooner Pils and Summerfest are both super tasty.

Most (certainly not all!) bourbon barrel aged funk.
    - Putting an OK beer in a barrel doesn't make it 5/5. Stop trying to justify overpriced junk.

    Bottle dating.
    - Should be in big bold print on the bottle in plain format. 01/01/2015

Overly aggressive "sales specialists" quoting rankings from Beeradvocate.
    - In the grand scheme of things, I do not base a purchase from a ranking.

Hype associated with this beer or that.
    - It happens and its annoying. Can't really stop it though. But seriously, it's a beer, not a cure for cancer.

    People saying a beer sucks.
    - Taste and feel are relative. Would prefer if people said "That beer just wasn't for me. You try it and see what you think"

Any non conventional capping method. Metal cap yes. Cork maybe. Wax? Not buying it. Sorry.
    - If you need something other than the taste of your beer and word of mouth to sell your product, your beer might not be as great as you thought.

I will bite. A disclaimer though. Taste is relative. What I like or dislike is not going to be the same for you. That being said.
