Meanwhile, it was a backstage series kind of a day and another epic liquid lunch at the Ginger Man:



From right to left:

Frangelic Mountain Brown - amazing nose, but not too much else going on for it.
Bolt Cutter - Yikes. Cloyingly sweet and very artificial tasting. Glad I didn't buy a bottle for $28 a few months ago.
KBS '15 - Actually a bit thinner than I remember, but still very good.
CBS - It's a bit of a shame that it's ruined KBS for me, after having it on tap a few times over the past several months.

@CraftFan5 @EveningCordial Being in Portland is a little unfair at times...spreading around the drinking would still look about the same, with maybe some Upright or more de Garde thrown in the mix. SARA and RB stuff is a nice break haha

@CraftFan5 haha I agree with you there, I've never had CBS and I definitely have no hope of getting it here in the PNW...great BA stouts are kinda scarce here, unfortunately.

 

Hey, if you ever want any BCBS you let me know. It's a shelf turd over here. Would love to try any De Garde or Rare Barrel. We get Almanac and Crooked Stave, and Trinity just started distributing here, so I'm pretty good to go on sours when necessary.

I bought two because they're that good. It's nutty and hints of dark fruits. Almost like grape jelly on some 12 grain toasted bread. Tasty as a sombitch.
