    The more Hill Farmstead beers I see the more I think they have some of teh sexiest looking beers out there.

    Beautiful early evening in Chicago. Just about to grill some lemon and garlic chicken breasts and currently watching the White Sox vs. Royals. Started off enjoying Pipeworks latest beer Poivre Pose Saison brewed with pink and black peppercorns. Very tasting, I'm thinking about going with saisons all night tonight...

    Continuing to polish off my growler of DFH Positive Contact (awesome!) and will probably throw something else into the mix. Either a Founder's Cerise or a Climax Golden Ale (super active carbonation. I've had two bottles overflow the second I popped them)

    Thinking I'll have a Brahma Extra — my preferred Brazilian macro — and a caipirinha later to accompany some reading in archaeological theory. Because that's what I do on Saturday nights.

    I actually thought about going to see Shame by myself at an artsy cinema in this neighborhood, but then I thought, "That's probably a terrible idea, Fran." Maybe another day.

    today is day one of 16 days off for my girlfriend and i. tomorrow we fly to san diego and then cross the border to mexico on monday for a week of festivities for my little sister's wedding.

    relaxing with a few dales pale ales after some grilling tonight - about to open up a CL golden delicious, hops n roses and some hill farmstead stuff with a few friends before i leave tomorrow.

    first had a dfh 90 minute, which I think I can say now I am pretty much done with dfh, I really don't like any of their beers. next I am having a north coast old stock ale, yummy! taste like founders curmudgeons but bigger and bolder. next for the nightcap i'll have, well what do you know, a founders curmudgeons! lol

    I randomly found this like 3 weeks ago. Wasn't even in their system so they gave it to me for 2 bucks. It's damn good, wish I could get more.
