FYI, the Imperial Biscotti Break is the "DeCicco's" version that you can only get at their stores (like 4 places).

 

Haha probably no reason - I was prouder of the previous box actually.

Got the notice from my apartment that the box has landed. I have a meeting at work until 5:30 so if I leave right as it ends I may just be able to pick the box up before the apartment office closes. And if so, pictures will be forthcoming. I'm excited!

 

Unfortunately I've been in TX for work since the middle of last week, but I'll go looking when I get back to Madison on Wed. Sounds intriguing!

 

Hope you enjoy the brews – feels like Central Waters went above and beyond with the releases this past year, so it was nice to be able to share!

@prior2two good news and bad news: Your upcoming shipment will not be breaking the oz record of this BIF at a measly 266 oz. Hopefully some of the matching swag makes up for that though. Good news? Avg rating of 96, multiple perfect 100s, and several high-profile wants were acquired for you. Expect some fun times this week.

Damnit, will the wife be home?

 

First, let me say that before this event my craft beer experienced only included picking up a sixer of Sierra Nevada or Flying Dog from the local Harris Teeter instead of my normal case of Icehouse. I signed up for this thinking "Heck 144oz is only about 6 or 7 bombers... that shouldn't be too hard to fill." Then I started to see people saying that they had already pulled out 300oz our of their 'cellar' and it was at this point I knew I was in trouble! This was my first BiF and I had a blast! I learned a lot about beer and beer distribution. I learned just how big of a craft beer world there is out there and now it is my WIFE that is nervous about my new habit LOL! I have also decided that I want to brew beer too as a hobby and maybe as a second career after I retire from IT. Which is why I was very happy to see, when I got the FedEx alert, that my sender was @bevoduz !!!

I had crossed him off my list of potential senders because I saw that box he sent out earlier in the thread and mistakenly thought that it was his BiF box. Needless to say he killed it! I am also VERY happy that he included some of his own creations in the box as well! So... without further ado...

In the name of one of the beers he sent... this is what it was like when my wife and I were opening the box:



His stouts blotted out the sun! Such a great mix of big things, little things, homemade things, and old things. I couldn't have asked for a better sender and I am sure it will take a while to work my way through these stouts because I don't plan on trading any of these. How long can I hold onto them before they start to lose taste?

I am gratefult for the effort that you put into making my box @bevoduz and I really can't wait to try your homebrews... maybe as much, if not more than the big beers you sent!

In the future would it be possible to ask you things about homebrewing? I am in the reading phase now but will probably start my first batch in May. If you would like I would be willing to send you things out of my distribution in exchange for beers from your brewery

Thank you ALL for a fun diversion for the past few months... life was sucking around me but I had the BiF to focus on... and that was good.
