I will be pouring beer at a beer fest in Texas (Katy Wild West) and I the organizer asked me to tell him at which brewery I would like to be stationed. This is a difficult choice considering the beer list has not been published. I've put together my top choices and wanted some input from you guys.

In case you are wondering, the full brewery listing can be seen here:

Personally, and I'm sure I'm in the minority but I'd choose a local brewer and speak their gospel, assuming you choose a good one. Spreading good will for small, local Brewers is far better, IMO than spreading good words for Goose Island, DFH, BP, Founders or FW

Poll will basically end up being "what's your favorite brewery" but my answer is Firestone Walker. They are awesome.

I agree to an extent, especially since I did feel some guilt about repping GI. Really, they are only on my list in hopes of pouring BCBS. I would be pretty disappointed pushing 312 wheat all night long.

The reality though is that many of the locals will have their own crew out there so I figured I wouldn't be of much use.

I went with firestone too - just because I think they do more interesting things with 'standard' beers

But FW would be my pick.

The good thing about FW is that practically all of their core beers are amazing and any rares would only be icing on the cake.

This would be really interesting if you were pouring their top beers. If you had Prop, KBS, VAS, Parabola and BBA WWS...that'd be an interesting choice.

I would probably end up losing my mind if that were the case. I think best case scenario for DFH is a case of 120 and that can only spell trouble. It would be a fun beer to talk about though and see peoples reactions.

It depends on whether you are going for what you believe in, or just the cool factor, but ultimately the decision is really up to you personally.

Go for a good local or I'd pick Odell

I wouldn't pour GI and I'm not a fan of Ballast Point
I would be happy to pour any of the other 3. If you asked me to rank them FW would be at the top. But I am picking Founders on the chance there will be CBS to pour.

Based on the options, Firestone Walker. Although, Hops n' Sours, Hops & Sours for the win. My vote goes to Russian River.

based on the poll, FW but does it really matter what we pick. Go with whatever brewery you feel like you know and enjoy.
