I've brewed with the kids around (both 5 at the time) and it wasn't enjoyable. They kept trying to get close to the burner which is only their natural curiosity I suppose.

I usually brew solo, more to lessen my embarrassment :astonished:

I've only brewed solo so far. Five people sounds crazy for only one brew going.

I brew with my brother and would much rather brew with someone than by myself, 5 people though is too many.

I am in the fifth stage of brewing so yes I do enjoy doing with friends.

I enjoyed the company of fellow Brewers and non-Brewers and I am disappointed when I have to brew alone. But I never drink while I am brewing, but I enjoy sampling brings after a brew day is complete with friends.

I normally brew by myself and prefer it that way.

By myself, but I have a cat that always seems to want to be involved.

Sometimes solo and sometimes with my college-aged son (much preferred). But usually when my wife is out (I'm still in the kitchen). She doesn't appreciate the hop pellet aroma like I do:astonished:

Started out brewing with two friends but trying to coordinate 3 busy schedules is a nightmare. Plus, the other two friends didn't find it as much fun as I did. Thus, I ended up with all the equipment and I brew solo. If the other guys want to brew they usually pickup the stuff, but it's quickly back in my possession since I am the only one who brews on some type of consistent basis. However, I do wish we could brew together more often.

My wife helps when I bottle, but other than that, I'm solo for everything else.

Solo here too. When I brew, I do so on weekends, with an early morning start. I think of it as my quiet time - sip coffee, brew my batch, clean up, & then join my family for the rest of the day.

My brew partner is a long time friend and neighbor. He likes hanging out drinking beer and having beer on tap at the house. I like those things but really get into the nerdy side of making beer. So on brew day he sorta becomes my helper. We have a pretty good system now and haven't made a bad beer in quite a while (although I'm sure I just jinxed us).

I brew by myself. I have brewed with friends before and the product was subpar, there was too much sampling of prior batches going on. If one of them or a family member wanted to take it somewhat seriously though I'd love it

Just me. I don't have any friends, and my wife has no interest in helping.

I've only brewed 5 times, but all have been by myself. My daughter absolutely loves helping me on bottling day! Like many, I have several friends that "want to help consume our final product" but none knocking down the door to help with the "fun" stuff. I'm hoping I can find one brew partner as I'm about to transition to AG. If not, I'll still enjoy it just the same.
