Wow, that's big news. I didn't realize that Fair State was bottling. Fair State quickly has become one of my favorite breweries in the state, and this is one of the better IPAs in town. I'm not a big fan of the bomber format personally, but, from what I hear, Steel Toe sells in droves, and Fair State IPA can give Size 7 a run for its money. This move will help Fair State get a lot more well deserved attention. Here's hoping they start bottling their sours and rauchbiers too, both of which they do as well as any other brewery in the Upper Midwest.

Hot damn, thank you. I was just starting to go through twitter to see what stores carry them to see if I can stop some where on the way home.

Will say that I was really impressed by Fair State IPA considering I hadn't had much from them that I liked. It's a really really good IPA.

It is interesting so many go to the bombers still after talking to Bauhaus who is moving away from bombers for their seasonals as they just don't sell that well for them.

I've seen them at North Loop also, but that stores pricing angers people and for good reason.1010 Washington Ave.Wine and Spirits is a great new store that I believe carries them as well.

Apparently MGM Woodbury just got more KBS "dropped off". If anyone is interested just know that when they had it a month ago it was $8.99 and 1 bottle limit.

I'm thrilled that Fair State is bottling, but I really hate the bomber format. That's way more than I'd want to drink of any one beer in a sitting. It's the main reason I've tried so few Steel Toe beers.

FYI KBS @ MGM Woodbury was $7.99 (although I don't know how much they had, only saw one on the counter). Pentagram is $20.99

I use a champagne stopper thing i got at crate and barrel. Keeps the beer from getting flat for a few days. The only way i can tackle some large format beers without having someone else donating part of their liver.

Its a mild, toned down CW BBBW, almost like watered down...good but not great, however very good for the price

I would agree with TboneRN on this one good but not great and will fit most people's budgets.
