Only made one trip to SL so far, a few years ago now, but had a lot of fun, browsed and shopped for at least an hour. Spent about 100.00 and found some stuff that was either super hard to find at home or completely unavailable, including a Cantillon (Kriek IIRC). Wound up meeting one of the guys from Burnt Hickory Brewery in Georgia, who gave me a few unlabeled sample bottles out of his trunk in the parking lot. Happy beer memories!

We do hold things for customers, but when it comes to rare items (BCS, Parabola, etc.) we keep in the back as it's usually an extremely limited amount. We also limit how many bottles someone can get so that way someone, as mentioned, doesn't clean out the stock before others can get a chance. Also, we used to have a list for the really rare stuff, but since we get so little, we don't bother anymore. If there is anything that you are looking for that isn't on the shelf, just ask one of us in case it's in the back or if there is any left.
