About a year and a half. So I'm still new to it all. Hoping to catch up soon.

I read and studied everything I possibly could about brewing for about 2 years before I started brewing. I actually started brewing in November, so about 6 months of hands on brewing.

This will be my 15th year brewing. Love it more and more with each brew.

Beer mail me for an address to send my anniversary presents to!

On and off since 1993ish with years off in between then and now. I started brewing back when you had to brew your own in order to drink fancy styles like brown ales and IPAs. You kids these days...

Less than a year and only two batches in. Just picked up some new basic equipment (worth chiller, temperature controller, heating strip, spin plate) and will be re-doing # 2 (a Lagunitas IPA clone) to see if I can get closer to the mark this time.

I've been brewing for 7 or 8 years now, I think (don't remember exactly when I started....)
Had some very successful batches, some not so successful, but no major infections or such.
I haven't done much for a couple years with selling a couple houses, buying another, moving, and now prepping for a little addition to the family.
I hope to get some new equipment soon and make a couple batches over the summer - I have a list of a good dozen that I want to do...

Yesterday was our 18th wedding anniversary. She bought me a kit as a wedding present. So 18 years of brewing.

I told my wife I haven't been doing anything consistently for 18 years except brewing and her. Both are still just as fun and I try to learn something new each time.
    Cheers.

Just a hair under 3 years here and I'll keep brewing until I no longer can.

I started in 2001, and have brewed only 39 batches, all being extract with specialty grains.

Dabbled with no boil kits (The Beer Machine) in 2005. Started doing stove top 5 gal extract batches in 2009, went to full boils, then All grain shortly after. So I'll say 7 years and not include the The Beer Machine days (2 horrible batches).

Goin' on 5 years now. Only had 1 infection so far in the bottle.. but plenty of other stupid mistakes that could have been easily avoided.

Since 2008, more than 100 batches so far. The more I brew the more I realise I need more knowledge.

So 20 years is not true?
And you should get yourself a large egg whisk. I find large eggs more economical than medium ones.
