Last one. I came for this as much as the beer. Only bout 100 or so stuck it out from what I can tell. They killed it.
Pepper's Cheer's to the crowd with a Coors Light as he walked off was hilarious.

 

Anybody know who the dude in the blue raincoat is? My gf and I were highly amused by the photobombing (especially since I hate selfies, as you may be able to ascertain).

 

The "knife fight" was not really a fight. One guy pulled a knife an another person allegedly. The only problem is nothing could really be done because the victim did not want to do anything about it, oh yeah, and the accomplice took the knife so there was no evidence. Both people were thrown out, but somehow managed to make it back in.

 

Also DL '13 and BA Behemoth '10.

 

Wow. What an asshole. At least no one was hurt.

Festival organizers have a responsibility to maintain their guests' safety. If this guy got thrown out because someone attacked him and he didn't get his bottles then yes, 3 Floyds certainly owed the victim his allotment.

Not what you would have done I take it?

Flew out from Cali. Second year. I was in the Pliny the Younger poncho if anyone saw me roaming around.

I heard about the knife fight, didn't see it. I did see some guy try to pull bottles out of another guys backpack. Owner felt it, turned around bottles dropped and broke. Near fight happened. Security was RIGHT there, and escorted the thief out of the gate. Owner asked what security would do about his broken bottles and they said they couldn't do anything. While I blame the thief, I also put some blame on the guy with his backpack WIDE open walking around.

Got in line at the north gate around 9. Line was super long and the sharing was light. People were friendly regardless.

I was group a. The line almost moved too quickly for sharing. I got a Vanilla, my friend got nothing. I got offered 160 for my bottle immediately upon exiting. Said no thank you.

Bottles went immediately into my backpack and zipped up securely.

Roamed around, drank guest taps, stood in line for glasses too long. Met some awesome people, had a great time. Hated the weather. Left about 6pm.

You forgot the part where it became completely obvious that he defecated in his pants as well. I had so many emotions watching that gentleman. I felt so terrible for him, and yet I couldn't stop laughing.

 

Was that really you? I thought it was funny at first, and then I went through my phone and saw the progression, and thought it was hilarious. I showed the 3 pics to my gf, she started cracking up, and thought it would be awesome if I could track the person down.

 

Well.. there kinda WAS a fight.. and by "accomplice" you mean the guy who found it on the ground who was not part of his party (see post above).

I do agree that the victim was fairly innocent, i just think simply alerting security that a dude A.) tried to steal your bottles and B.) threatened you with a knife when you called him out on it... Might have been a smarter resolution then standing and arguing with the man.

That coffee was so delicious, I'm going to stop there in my way home today and see if they have anything left over.

 

I had 2 friends that both won Vanilla Bean bottles and were approached by people offering over $200/bottle. Both of them sold their bottle for $220. I would've absolutely done the same thing had I won. No beer is worth $220 imo.

Was standing right on the fence checking out Obituary when some kid, probably 21-23 years old right next to me started looking sort of pale. I didn't care as i was jamming, but then out of my perif, he yacks alllllll over himself. I nearly got some spray. He leaned against the fence like a zombie with throw up all over himself for about 5 minutes and stumbled off somewhere.

 

Hahaha I didn't forget left it out to preserve some of his dignity. That was the saddest yet funniest thing I've seen in a very long time
