So I just had a great beer over at Jimmy's No 43 in NYC. It was a saison/farmhouse ale called Migdal Bavel by an Italian brewery called Extraomnes. When I went to rate it on BA, it said it is retired, as in no longer brewed. My question is, how did this bar still have it. Obviously I have to go back soon and get more before its kicked. I will also ask them what's the story. I really liked this beer and am asking fellow BA members whether they know about this specific brew and how else to get a hold of it.

No idea on that, but I've bought a couple beers locally with relatively fresh dates, that were labeled as "retired" on BA. I'd be curious as to the answer, myself.

Collaboration with Stillwater. It was probably brewed again.

I wouldn't expect the database on BeerAdvocate to reflect what every brewery is doing in real time.

You can try contacting the brewery and finding out, then be an advocate and submit an update.

Yes. I forgot to mention this. The tap handle did mention Stillwater.

Tower of Babel, in Hebrew? How did it get a Hebrew name? Or is this a coincidence?

It is because sometimes people enter beers as "limited/brewed once" when the beer is first made, and then BA automatically retires the beer after a set amount of time. If something is listed incorrectly, you can report an update to get it moved back to not being retired.
