I will be up around u village next weekend. Is there anywhere I can find anything from boneyard? I always see them being talked about on here but haven't come across it on any previous trips. Doesn't have to be in the immediate u village area but anywhere north of downtown. Thanks peoples

Not much in the immediate area around U Village. Best bets would probably be in the Roosevelt/Ravenna/Green Lake/Lake City neighborhoods:

Toronado (has Hop Venom on tap now)
    Burgundian
    Latona Pub
    Hopvine
    Fiddler's Inn
    Wedgwood Ale House
Elliott Bay Brewery (I think they sometimes have a Boneyard guest tap)
    Beer Authority

That's the best I can come up with. There's also probably some app where you plug in the beer you want and it gives you the nearest GPS coordinates where you can find that beer, but I don't know anything about that.

Well, if you are at U Village, you can check out Eureka! Not sure if they have Boneyard often, but their taplist is decent and maybe you would get lucky.

Uber Tavern, on Aurora near Green Lake, often has Boneyard on tap. Right now they've got Bone-a-Fide, a pale ale. Their taplist is updated real time at uberbier.com/tap.php, so you can check them out before going over. It's maybe three miles from U Village.

Fix Coffee right across from Green Lake always has RPM. Same with Pies and Pints on the same block as Toronado.

Toronado has Hop Venom right now.

Resident Green Lake BA checking in.

Awesome. I hope all is well out there. I went to Carroll and lived on Clarke St. for a year.

Question: I might be going back in September. Any recommendations on a good bottle shop?

We just had a new shop open up recently called the hawthorn. Then there is toppers which is okay, you gotta really check botteling dates though. Island liquor has a growler fill station with about 7 different beers. If you remember lewis and Clark brewing they just got a new building 2 years ago it's pretty nice. And blackfoot river brewing which in my opinion is probably my favorite brewery in the state. If your driving from Washington your best bet would be to stop in missoula. They get the best distro in the state. They have wordens market, summer sun garden and brew, pattee creek market, the dram shop.

Thank you! Fun to hear Toppers still exists. Agreed on Blackfoot, too. We were back there in 2010 for our 10-year homecoming, and it was great. I'll definitely reference your post if we make it back in September. Thanks!

Doesn't really help OP, but I had a pint of Bone Light, their ISA, at Collins Pub yesterday, and it was pretty good. If you see it, grab a pint.

Surprising as it may seem, but every time I go to the Ballard bevmo, they have rpm for growler fills.

Actually that's a good point. I think I've seen RPM for growler fills @ the Northgate Bevmo too the few times I've stopped in. Northgate would be closer for the OP's purposes. They might even list this info on their website (they show current inventory by store, at least in theory).

If you're coming down to West Seattle, come to The Beer Junction! They often have multiple Boneyard brews on tap. Right now they even have Notorious. That speaks for itself.

They also are one of the best bottle shops in the Seattle area. To my wife's discontent I could spend hours (and $$$) in there.

I second Beer Junction in West Seattle. They have always had at least one Boneyard beer on tap every time I visit. Also, check out the taplists at Chuck's 85th St and Brouwer's.

Gotta love how the OP says "anywhere north of downtown" and a couple people say this place

Yeah I googled it and had a little laugh. I will be there in July also and could probably make it there.

the beer junction is great, but if hop venom/notorious/etc are on-tap, my guess is you'll pass about 5-10 establishments on your way over there that have them on tap. finding boneyard beers around seattle is not nearly as difficult as it once was, although drafts like notorious seem to kick within 1-2 days.

I would bus it to West Seattle for some Notorious.
