Trying this for the first time. Damn good. Gose down easy. Thinking about replacing Gatorade with this after excersise this summer....

I don't say this often, but I'm actually liking this more in the glass vs. out of the can; I feel like the hop character tones down just enough to make this taste more true to the style.

I am glad my Local Beer Store has singles for purchase...25 dollars for a six pack of 11.2 fluid ounce at 6%, I'm not really feeling that price. Its good beer but not an everyday drinker, unless I'm stuck on Baller Status!

My biggest issue with hab sculp is how drinkable it is. I'm legitimately afraid of what would happen if I sessioned a six of that alone.

 

It's the most well balanced habanero beer I've had imo, its never so hot that its unpleasant (coming from someone with a heavy bias of eating a lot of hot food regularly, mind you). Dangerously drinkable.

 

It's got an edge but not crazy. Now the Stone Crime & Punishment...holy shit. Agree with @lambpasty....dangerously drinkable.

Good to know! A place near me recently got a few cases in.
NOTHING that I've come across is close to Crime / Punishment (thank Gawd)

 

Out gunning for a lager, I was about to grab a six of Troegs Sunshine Pils when I recalled someone here having mentioned he'd recently found one of my fave German imports with a best by date in December of this year, which is considerably fresher than I usually find this herbal-bitter brew. So I spotted some, checked the date, and voila.



These dangerous green bottles often admit some skunk, but this six is surprisingly free of it. Stoked.

Happy Tuesday, BAs ! So far, this week has been pretty good. Why ? After months of looking, I finally got a job (yay, more beer money !) and perhaps even better, my best friend went to Dark Lord Day and scored me a bottle, along with a sixer of Zombie Dust. Things are looking up. Cheers !!!!

 

I appear to be slamming these beers by this site. Bartender is easy to look at but she sucks on the service. On to Due South Cat5. After this a short walk back to the hotel.
