Had a glass of OB Gubna on tap at the local tap room. Yum, love that beer. Came home and stuck with the OB theme and just poured this.

Was able to make sure my work schedule took me by Al's of Hampden today around 4PM for their tired hands event.

Started off with a Shambolic, excellent hoppy saison and you can't beat this pour and you get to keep the #properglassware for only 6 bones.

Then I went with Hophands, looks beautiful like all that Trillium and Northeast awesomeness everyone was talking about earlier, taste's just as good as it looks.

Also got to try a sip of I'm Sad, was a really light looking Porter but the coffee flavor was strong and it finished sweet from the honey, caught me off guard at first but it was really good.

Now I'm relaxing on the deck watching the little man play while I drink this one:

Miami Brewing Co. - Shark Bait - Man, this one surprised me, tastes like a wheat beer with bubble gum flavoring added. Going down smooth on a nice warm evening.

    Cheers!

i love easy access to these beers. Beautiful street lamp haze, fresh, and creamy mouthfeel. Clark's not perfect, Mike's not perfect, business is business. It's not illegal for individuals to have personal opinions on how they want things done. in fact it is refreshing. Traits not often found in one's own individual intellectual cluster. Keep brewing world class beer in the midwest! I give a tip of my cap to Mike and Clark for doing what they love despite any differences. At least they are not faking what they feel, which is what most of the "LEAVE IT TO BEAVER" esque corporate world would want you to live. Be a biological puppet. Cheers, friends.

Grapefruit Sculpin...In a can. And boy, I must say that drinking this one out of the can is better than pouring it in a glass. Some bitter hop character out of the can.

You're getting a few likes from me on this post...One of them is Flower Power and the others....go to Jessica Alba! She's been know to down a few brews and smoke some Hop's Cousin! Yet your musical choice for Tyr's day shouldve sounded like this!

    That sounds awesome! :sunglasses:
    Answer it!
I'm just gonna chime in, all unsolicited and shit, and say that Habanero Sculpin is hot - like, whatta great chili kick - and I, too, love it and spicy foods (so, biased)...
And for the record, I'm one of the few that enjoyed Crime and Punishment - couldn't rate 'em too high, 'cuz they kinda went too far (but I'm waaaay above the rDev or whatever its called) - but for the sheer thrill of the heat? No complaints - well, actually, it coulda been cheaper - two of the pricier Stone brews out there.

Thanks ! I've only had it once, a couple of years ago (courtesy of the same friend). I've never been to Dark Lord Day, though. The beer was quite good, but personally, I wouldn't stand in line for three or four hours in the cold rain for it. But it is a definite rarity, and I'm grateful to have tried it.
