I'll be in Cleveland from May 1 to 4 for a first Communion. Already planning a trip to GLBC to try most of their beer for the first time since I can't get it at home. Any other must visit breweries/bars/bottle shops? And does anyplace close get Bodhi?

    Fat Head's(two locations)
    Tremont Tap House
    Brew Kettle

Those would top my list. Maybe Willoughby Brewing if it's fairly convenient or you feel like a drive.

Rozi's Wine House tends to have Bodhi on tap more than not(and currently) for your growler needs.

If you're already going to be at GLBC, Platform brewing is right around the corner and posts their tap list on beer menus. The suggestions from the other 2 guys are my top picks for the Cleveland area as well.

ONLY go to the Fat Head brewery. The other location is a joke.

Search Cleveland. There have been a bunch of threads and there are a lot of awesome suggestions from food, beer, shit to do, shit to see, etc.

If you only do one thing while you are there, eat biscuits and gravy at Lucky's Cafe and thank me later.

Fat Head's brewpub isn't a joke, but it is very crowded. It has a more eclectic tap list than the brewery.

Heck if you are going to GLBC, Market Garden brewery is 500 feet away, Nano Brew is 1500 feet from that, and as someone else mentioned Platform Brewing is just down the street. Plus, the West Side Market is across the street from GLBC. It is a must see if your there Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.

If you are looking for a good spot downtown I HIGHLY recommend checking out the newly opened Butcher and the Brewer. That's only another 10 minutes from Great Lakes.

    Enjoy!

Another place wedged between Great Lakes, Nano, and Market Garden (all on the same block) is Town Hall. They do crowlers of all their beer on tap. $6 crowler for anything that is a 14 oz pour. $9 crowler for anything that is a 8 oz pour.

    List is here: http://www.townhallohiocity.com/lounge/brews/

Then I'd take the less than 10 minute ride down the shoreway to Rozi's for your Bodhi fill. Then another 10 minutes or so to Fat Heads. Brewery or brewpub. As stated already. Brewpub gets very crowded. Brewery is more chill. But has later hours some days.
