Has anybody heard anything about the next time that NEBCO will can and release Gandhi? I know it is kind of mysterious until it happens, but I am just curious.

NEBCO posted on their twitter this morning that Bot is on for growler fills today. I'd assume they will can some of that run, but can't be too sure.

Cans usually come around once a month, stores are limited to only one case. Distro is broken up pretty good, some parts of the state get it one week, other parts of the state get it another. I think they do it on purpose, it used to be alot more predictable. I am not even sure when the last canning date was. Maybe someone else can chime in with a better answer. I personally haven't seen any cans in almost 2 months, but that doesn't mean it isn't around. The majority of stores hide it in the back which makes it even trickier to know when it is around.
I am guessing you want to know in order to figure out a good time to put up a ISO post, anytime would be a good time, like i said they like to break up distro, probably to keep people from hoping store to store and buying alot at once.

Ahh to the days when their whole portfolio was more accessible. Sea Hag cases collecting dust on the shelves! I have heard horror stories about CT beer store. Mainly pertaining to Sip of Sunshine

I know they are going to rename, but haven't heard much since January. Gandhi cans are still on their website so I figure this is still in process.

What's Gandhi Bot? With sooooo many great, more easily accessible IPA/IIPA (Trillium, Second Fiddle) out there I can't imagine caring when or where I can get my hands on 1 four pack every 45-60 days....It pisses me off that a brewery that knows how in demand a particular beer is will not increase it's capacity (Heady) or limit its distribution to, perhaps, brewery only (Fiddlehead).

Signed a disgruntled and former GB fanboy.

I drink tons of other IPAs and DIPAs, but have wanted some more of this for a little while. It's not the end all be all, but it is pretty tasty.

really silly perspective. NEBCO has been growing consistently, and their quality has been going up as well.

do you have the capital and skilled laborers necessary to help them grow faster?

    ---

IMO people who want to chase beer like this are missing the point. yeah, you only get g-bot once in awhile. buy it when you see it. love it. when you go to the store for a delicious IPA and g-bot isn't there, buy something else. there's like a million world class IPAs out now; you should be buying what's fresh if you want the best flavor.

Was in a store last week saw a customer come in and ask for Gandhi bot, the beer manager said that they didn't have any, but that they had some SoS in the back. Said customer turned down the SoS (which said store sells at msrp) and walked out the door.

Possible he was looking for the GB specifically because the GB cans might be a collectible now.

Maybe he doesn't like SoS. Is that such a crime?

No, but I'm sure the venn diagram of people who like GB and like SoS is probably mostly overlapping.

Could've been me. I turned down SOS at my local spots in the past couple weeks after grabbing a case at the Lawson's event. Could've been me, or someone else that had enough SOS at home, or simply someone that doesn't like SOS?

This got ugly quick. Just a guy in Texas trying to get the scoop on a tasty beer. Have a connection in CT, but trying to see if I can get some more info.

It seemed more like she was just on the gandhi bot hype trail and didn't even recognize what SoS was. It's become a lot more common since the bot was in the news.

Breweries aren't compelled to grow to satisfy the demands of the world. If a brewery just wants to be local and operate at a particular scale, that's their prerogative.
