No advice on beer inside the park, I do my drinking before and after the game, but I do have two bleacher seats for Sox/Yankees tonight (Friday) that I am looking to unload at face value. $38 per tickets, Section 41, row 27. I ended up with some better seats so selling these. I will be at Trillium around 2:30 this afternoon and then around town pre-game. Message me if interested. Would even throw in a Heady Topper or two to seal the deal!

I'll be up there tomorrow(Saturday) for the Sox/NY game. plan is to hit Yard House up when it opens at 11, pre-game with as many different craft choices at a moderate price as possible then head to Fenway and hit up the Green Monstah in much smaller quantities. Go Sox!

Boulevard's The Calling was on the Yard House chalkboard list and I crushed a few on Wednesday, was tasting great. My next game is Sunday and I hope there is some still around!

Lower Depths and Bukowskis also good/close options to get your craft on before the game

@kevdemers - are you a 10th Man Plan holder? We went Wednesday (no pre-game -- the 6:10 start doesn't work well for me!) and will hit up Yard House before Sunday's game.

Yes I am. Tomorrow will actually be a crapshoot, we typically park further out west on Brookline and walk in but may have a mobility-impaired person with us. So we may have to cough up the $40 to park on Boylston then hit Tasty Burger across the street...

Well, parking certainly isn't. I walked by on my way to the commuter rail on Friday and saw a parking lot charging $50.

I can't believe people can't watch a baseball game without drinking! We went to Sox/Yanks Friday night and the group of people in our row got up 300 fucking times to refill or piss. They would come back, double fisting, spilling beer on my shoes and seat. It's a ball park, not a fucking bar! If you want craft beer, go to a fucking bar! Sorry for so much F word...

Given the poor selection, I suck it up and go with Sam Summer. There's something different about it at the ballpark and it's my guilty pleasure, given I only make a handful of games.

All part of the experience - I've literally been pissed on while seated in the grandstands. Not that I participate in or support that kind of behavior, but if you don't want to deal with other people, watch the game at home. It's a sporting event...some people are going to get hammered and be inconsiderate of others.

Definately stay away from a Patriots game then.

Jack's Abby House Lager is coming to Fenway

    From Jack's Abby Facebook page:

We could not be more excited to share that by this time next week you could be sitting at Fenway Park with a can of House Lager in your hand- Monday April 11th is the Boston Red Sox home opener and our debut at the stadium! We're thrilled to be a part of the action at America's oldest baseball field and can't wait for Red Sox Nation to get our cans in their hands. Be on the look out for House Lager when choosing your game time beer and raise a pint with us to Sox!

While I'm excited to have more "good beer" options there, I can't imagine what the Red Sox are going to charge for this.

Right now, a 12 oz. pour of a macro on draft is $7.75. Cans of Harpoon IPA and Wachusett Green Monsta IPA were between $8.50 and $9 for a 12 oz. can. If a 16 oz. can of JA's House Lager is going to run $12 at Fenway ... I can't imagine buying it. Though I'm sure some will...

Great news for fans and for Jacks Abby. I am always surprised by the lack of craft at Fenway.

I'll definitely have one of these for the novelty, but yeah my guess is even with the "Boston markup factor" there will be no shortage of pregame places selling pints of HL for like half what Fenway will charge.

A can of House Lager at Fenway will cost more than a 6 pack at a liquor store.
