Russian River, Lagunitas and Bear Republic

    Keep in mind that both Lagunitas and RR get very crazy shortly after opening. Bear Republic is super chill all day.

    IMO, I'd make sure to get to either RR or L right as they open then save BR for last. That way you minimize your wait.

    I haven't been there in a year or so, but I don't remember the wait for a sampler being that long. There was also a line out the door. Glad during my visits that has never happened to me, but I guess they've probably blown up in the last two years with the success of Pliny and their sours.

    The one and only time I got the sampler was in summer 2013 and we were warned that it may be an hour or not even possible to get the sampler due to a backup, but it was busy Saturday. It took about 35 min IIRC during which time I had 2 "tiny plinys"

    I disagree.
    Last time I was there they had a rum barrel aged imperial stout that was off the chain

    I totally agree with your disagreement. BR is a great spot and they usually have something interesting in addition to their very strong regular lineup.
