I am a Bruery RS member. I am looking for the desirability of Oude Tart. I usually max out all allocations, but this has 10 and before I do that I would like to see if it is even wanted by other members. thanks!
It's a great take on the style, especially for an American version. I would think it would trade along the lines of other limited, small distro releases. Probably won't land any big time brewery only releases, especially since the allocation is so high. Of course, imho.
It'll see some distribution so it should probably just go for good locals and seasonals. Don't buy it for trade value. Just buy it because it's delicious.
I was not expecting anything more than locals or seasonals, so that is good to know that it is at least relatively desirable. i have not had Oude Tart yet, so i was not sure how good it was. thanks!
here is what your trade timeline will look like: Release --- "Hey, I have a bottle of Double Daisy Cutter I would do for that one" --- RS Trustees receive their 10 bottes "Hey, I have a 4 pack of daisy cutter I will trade you " --- Hits the shelf at Provisions "hey, I will trade you a Small Animal Big Machine for that for that $20 shelf turd" --- Hits Total Wine for $12.99 with $2 off coupon "Hey, I will trade you some Duck Rabbit Milk Stout, sour4sour. LMK, or gopickitupformek"
well it has won two gold medals at world beer cup and one at gabf, so that says something about its quality.
Really good beer, but very expensive compared to its Belgian siblings. Also super easy to trade for due to high allocations. So if you're thinking of maxing out for trade bait, I wouldn't.
