I save them to annoy the wife! :grinning: Won´t do anything with that just looks great in a large glass.

With the plexi, did you seal the edge? Glue the caps to the table? Or was there an inlay and you just covered it with the plexi? Thanks, I've got a table and a bunch of caps I want to cover it with.

I have a bag full of Belgian beer bottle caps. I don't collect them, but you never know who you can do a pleasure with them.

Thinking of doing a bottle top bar counter. I have 535 caps so far with 118 unique ones. Love seeing what everyone else has done!

Let me know if you want a serious boost. I like offing caps as much as l like getting them! TONS of West Coast caps (Sierra Nevada, Full Sail, Mendicino, Anchor, Deschutes, North Coast, etc.)! A lot of others, too. I just sent at least a few hundred Sierra Nevadas and some others to a BA who is making poker chips out of them!

Well let me see... I have 1 Sierra Nevada, no Full Sail or Mendicinos, 7 Anchors, 1 Deschutes, and 2 North Coasts. Heck yeah I'm interested!

I've just bought and moved into a new house with what will eventually turn into a damned good man cave! I've started saving up my bottle caps since I moved in and plan on making a table or bar top out of them when I have enough.

If anyone wants to help out by sending me some, get in touch and we can hopefully sort something out!

Where is it? It's not on my forum menu list.

Edit: Never mind my question. I'm slow-thinking this afternoon.

I just found it. You have to agree to the beer trading rules before the Brewerania Trading forum shows up in the Forum menu.

Sorry about the long delay, I didn't see your question until just now. I built the table myself and basically the surface has three "levels" so to speak. The bottom level is what the caps are glued to, the middle layer was made from a what is called "craft wood" that was just slightly thicker than the caps and the craft wood borders the edges of the first level and that is what the plexi glass sits on. Then around the perimeter of the table is a 2 by 6 border that is 1/4 inch (the thickness of the glass) above the second level. When the glass is put in place it makes a even surface.

The caps are filled with hot glue and then hot glued to the surface. I tried several different glues and the hot glue was the strongest.

In the thread I shared a link to is a pic of the table. Post #26

I was looking for the craft beer map with the logos to use as my computer wallpaper and ran into this(pic is not mine). Seems like a really cool project for those looking what to do with the caps. Would look awesome as a table with the acrylic layer.
