Go with what you would be happy getting for it. If it is too much you will get no responses or worst case get made fun of. Who cares? And if you are making sure you don't sell yourself short- you are not trading correctly.

Well done - not one person has actually answered the question he asked.

OP is looking for actual beer trade help (you know, the point of this thread) so that he can craft an appropriate trade request, and this is what he gets.

And people complain about useless responses in trade threads. If any of you want to give away your Snozzberry to me and have a friend for life, I'll be happy to provide my address.

 

It was over a month ago, but I traded for 2 with 2 different traders. I know one was for a Prop 1:1 and I'm pretty sure the other was for a Fou 1:1. Which makes sense, since Prop and Fou are close to 1:1 themselves.

 

I traded for one as part of a larger trade. His end involved Snozzberry and Bootsy, my end involved several bottles of de Garde.

I don't think there have been more than five completed trades for his beer because everyone with snozzberry is asking for stuff like DDG, Armand seasons, and prop.
I've never seen a beer pimped so hard.
I bet green man makes good beer, but I'll never be able to afford those North Carolina ransoms.

 

I traded a Veritas 015 for Snozzberry + 1x Black Note. I felt I gave up a bit much (or maybe didn't get enough back), but it was close enough for me and I had the spare V015

 

i've done bootsy + snozzberry for mocha wednesday + bufuddlement + sour in the rye with kumquat.

I don't need another friend for life, though more friends are always welcome. I seriously LOVED your response. LOVED it enough that I think it deserves serious recognition.

People aren't necessarily trying to win trades just because they also want to be fair to themselves. They aren't always about maximizing value just because they wonder what they can get when trading.

Nor is maximizing value a crime against nature. I have a fair amount of beer. Many people here, especially those that are the most active, have considerably more than I do. People with dozens, sometimes hundreds of high value bottles, will have an easier time being generous with those beers & indifferent to how much they get when trading. These are also the people who can send out unsolicited boxes which will be generously reciprocated. Many traders don't live in that rarefied atmosphere.

Brand me greedy, but when I trade an undeniable part of my pleasure comes from acquiring bottles I want. Yep, my dirty little secret is out. A part of every trade I make has a 'me too' element in it *blush*.

So again, shoot me that address, por favor. One GM Snozzberry will be headed your way. BUT, nothing in return. Seriously. This just isn't about that.

Your post was priceless & deserves to be recognized as such. So many people seeking help with trades find themselves in a lose lose situation...Given no meaningful help when they request it only to be shot down or ridiculed when they post an iso:ft.

 

A while back I traded a Rum Barrel Peach La Tache for GM Snozz and a DCB Dos. Since then trade value on the Peach La Tache seems to have skyrocketed (and I think a second batch of Snozz was released?), so I'm not sure if that would happen again or not.
